his article is for anyone who owns or wants to own a successful hair salon.

Hair salons have been around forever. They are mostly recession-proof because women will continue to get their hair done, even when they do not have a lot of money. It’s a small luxury they will not give up. Every great hair salon understands that the patron wants to be pampered. They want to feel special. Any amenity you can add to help them feel special without too high a price will make your salon overbooked.

Here are the crucial areas:
Phones and Reception: Have someone who is always happy and makes the patrons feel good. They cannot be easily frustrated or moody. They have to make everyone feel welcome and not ignore some clients while they chat and fool around.

Floors: A clean shop is special. It’s seems crazy to say that, however many shops have dirty floors and bathrooms. Everyone pretends they do not see the filth. As soon as a new shop opens, the people go to that one because it’s new. They are really there because it is clean.

Shop Talk: Some people like gossip, some do not. It’s as simple as that. A shop full of loud people will turn off someone who does not to hear that. A shop full of quiet people will turn off the person who is ready for some great interaction while they are getting their hair done. These types of clients do not mix well. Know who fits as a client and who does not.

Good Management: Have you ever been in a business where everyone hates the boss or the owner? It’s horrible and you do not get the best service. Get rid of the people who hate you and hate customers. It shows. You are not able to hide that with paint. Have people in the booths who love to be there. And love to be there every day.

Cash Flow: Policies should be the same for everyone. When you make variations for some people you will create resentment in others. This goes back to good management.

Visit your competition: Would it be great to get good ideas that work and someone has already tested? Your completion is testing ideas all the time. If they work, they will keep them, if not, they will move on. See what makes them popular and use that. Stop saying you do not have competition. You will miss out on ways to be #1.

Salon Equipment: Needs to be in good working order, even if it’s used. The details are important. Your salon must be cleaned with cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing of equipment several times a day. Be sure your towels, are washed, clean and odor-free. Most places have a service that does that for them.

Website: Make yourself visible online with pictures of the actual salon and a list of services. If people cannot find you online, you do not exist.

<img src="http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh94/SEXYGRKPLAYGIRL/hair.jpg" border="0" alt="SALON"align="right">The popularity of the salon business continues to grow year after year, and more and more entrepreneurs are jumping into this exciting world.

There are many ways to run a successful salon, and many different types of salons to run, but the key to making any salon business work is a detailed and complete salon business plan.

==Detail Exactly What Type Of Salon You Propose To Run==

It goes without saying that the salon business plan should lay out in detail exactly what type of salon you propose to run. There are many types of salons, from hair salons to nail salons to day spas and beauty retreats.

Some salon owners focus on just one type of salon, while others offer a variety of related services to their clientele.

==Detail Your Financial Information==

A good salon business plan will contain detailed financial information on the proposed business to be opened, if it is a new business.

In the case of an existing business, it is important that the salon business plan contain information on the current financial health of the business.

==Attracting Financing And Potential Investors==

A business plan has many uses to the entrepreneur, but one of the most important of all is in attracting financing and potential investors in the fledgling business.

After all, no responsible investor will want to part with his or her hard earned money unless he or she is certain the business has a shot at succeeding.

==The Business Plan Is The First Thing Investors Will Want To Look At==

It is important that your salon business plan be professionally prepared, and that it be a good reflection on you and your business.

After all, the business plan will be the first thing any potential lender will look at. It is important that it put your business in the best possible light.

==Legal And Tax Planning Considerations==

A good business plan, whether for a salon business or any other type of business, will also be quite useful in planning your taxes properly, and in planning the legal strategy for your new business.

There are a great many legal and tax planning considerations when starting a new business, so it may be a good idea to consult with a good lawyer or tax attorney when creating your salon business plan.

>Over 90% of all hair products bought in the UK are bought over the counter on the high street, with Tesco recently being voted “Best haircare retailer” in the “Hair magazine awards 2007″ meaning most salons are losing out on a MASSIVE amount of extra revenue. In other countries like Australia, for example, the vast majority of hair products are actually bought in-salon due to stylist and client education and stylists being seen as the hair care experts that they are. In the UK, however, while a client will trust you with their cut and colour, their preferred expert in home care products is still the high street retailer and chemist. This is like hiring a personal trainer to help you lose weight and then ignoring the nutritional advice they give and simply buying what you deem “healthy” from the supermarket.

So why is this? The 2 most common reasons given for not trying to retail are:

1: We’re hairdressers, not sales people.

2: My clients don’t want to feel pressured.

These are not reasons, they’re excuses and here’s why:

1: You ARE sales people. Every day you sell your skills and knowledge to your clients and prospective clients and this is why they trust you, because you know what you’re doing. YOU are the trained expert and part of your job is to know what the client should be using on their hair.

2: If it’s done properly, it’s not hard sell it’s heart sell. If you think your client should have a few inches cut off and some highlights put in, would you say to them “I want to chop a couple of inches off and give you some highlights”? No, it’s too abrupt and would probably scare your client away. But if you said, “I really think that we should take a little length around here, bring it in around your face, which would really compliment your face shape, and add a few highlights to give your overall colour some definition”. Don’t you think that sounds much more appealing? Give your client a reason for wanting what you suggest and they will want it. The same rule applies to retail products. Listed below are 7 steps than any salon can take to see positive change in their retail sales and an increase in extra revenue.

So here are the seven steps to salon retail heaven:

STEP 1: PRODUCT CHOICE. Find a range of products that YOU believe in. It’s very easy to choose a range that most salons in your area have, under the assumption that if everyone has it it must be good. If you don’t like the look, smell and feel of the products you provide, it will be very difficult to promote them to your clients. It’s essential that you choose products that you truly believe are the best for your clients and, if you plan to provide more than one brand, suit all pockets. Some clients won’t buy high priced products yet some clients won’t buy lower priced products because they see them as “cheap”. Strange, but true.

STEP 2: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Where you locate your retail products within the salon is essential and can make all the difference. Ideally, they should be at the front of the salon, near the reception and, if possible, on the right hand side. People are naturally inclined to go to the right. If you are limited for space, consider using your window area for retail with labels clearly visible from outside. You can also use point of sale material and special promotions to draw people through your door. This can actually work in your favour as people can clearly see which products you stock and may simply come in to purchase their favourite products.

STEP 3: RELAXED, RESTOCKED, REFRESHED. Many salons have good products on shelves behind the till or locked in glass cabinets. To a client, this says “DO NOT TOUCH”. So what do Tesco do that works so well? Simple. Their retail area is very inviting, clean, with well lit shelves, fully stocked, clearly labelled, with plenty of information and trained advisors at hand to answer any questions and make recommendations. It’s essential that clients can pick up, read and smell your products. Stock should also be moved around every 4 weeks or so to keep the area fresh and draw clients eyes to different products.

STEP 4: LET’S TALK. Imagine watching Gordon Ramsay on TV and, for once, he’s not shouting. In fact, he doesn’t say a word. He prepares his ingredients, mixes them together, cooks, stirs, flips and seasons, until the dish is complete and he presents it to the camera. It looks delicious. But what is it? How did he do it? What did he use and why? How much? For how long? Gordon tells us what he’s cooking, what he’s using, what it does, how much he’s using and how he’s using it and he does this for one simple reason. When Gordon Ramsay cooks, YOU WANT TO COOK. It’s how he sells his books. NO TALK, NO SALE. As you cut and colour your clients hair, you explain what you’re doing and why and so it should be with product use. Every member of staff should be explaining what they’re using, what it does, how much they’re using and how they’re using it. Give your clients the recipe and they will want to cook it themselves at home.

STEP 5: MAKE RETAIL FUN. When I was a child, my Mum made a game of everything. Tidying my room was a game, washing up was a game, mowing the lawn was a game. These where all things I knew I had to do to get my pocket money but my Mum was smart. By making a game of something, even the most mundane tasks aren’t that bad. Every so often, have a retail promotion for a limited period and run a staff game along side it. Take a grid of numbers from 1 to 50, like the game battleships, and every time a staff member retails a product they write their name on a number. Put 5 prizes of different value in 5 envelopes each with a number on it and keep these in your safe. When the grid is full or the promotion has ended, hand out the envelopes to those who’s name is on the corresponding number.

STEP 6: MAKE TRAINING FUN. Retail training doesn’t have to be a drag that noone looks forward to. Play “Who am I?” with retail products. Get 2 teams and as people think they know the product you’re describing, they have to run and get it. The winning team gets some chocolates for each correct answer. Play “Pass the parcel” with a product. When the parcel’s unwrapped, the person has to describe the product and sell it to the team as if they were on a shopping channel. They then get to keep the product or swap it for one they would use at home. Also, make sure your staff are using the products you retail. Don’t just give them a 10% discount on products, give them a monthly allowance. It amazes me the number of staff who still use high street products. If you work for Ford you drive a Ford, if you work for Levi you wear Levi jeans, if you’re a hairdresser YOU DO NOT USE HIGH STREET BRAND PRODUCTS!

STEP 7: MAKE BUYING FUN. Take full advantage of any supplier promotions to boost your retail sales. Clients are more likely to buy if the perceived value of what’s on offer is high. Offer your clients a money back guarantee that they won’t find on the high street. Encourage your clients to get rid of their old products they don’t use any more by offering them a 25% discount on all retail products when they bring in their old products. Constantly think of ways to give your clients the WOW factor! B.O.G.O.F’s, products presented in gift wrapped boxes etc are great ways of boosting retail sales and will encourage your clients to buy more often.

By utilising these 7 steps, any salon can see a noticeable growth in retail sales and, therefore, a growth in extra revenue and should also notice a positive change in the way retailing is perceived by their staff.

Hair Salon Management can always bebroken down into easy chunks. So ifyou’re salon management team wants the best way of how to run a hair salon, then by following these hair salon owners tips it will ensure that you can shout “more clients in my salon” and have a successfully run salon business.

Put into action these steps and you will see results¡ I promise!

Step One

Think about the result you want from your change. Get your Salon Management team together and really think it thru. If you’re a salon owner then get some stylists together and talk it over with
them. Sounds obvious but all the of the jigsaw needs to make sense if you are to get the team commitment and corporation. But no need for you to explain your reasons for changing.

Step Two

You have to change your approach or behaviour in order to change the behaviour in others CONSISTENTLY! For example if you want all clients to have a consultation before their hair is
washed then you¡ have to do it each and every time or it will be death to that idea. If you want more clients in my salon then Remember its your hair salon business so you have to change¡.right!

Step Three

Get your salon management team to give Loads of praise when you catch them doing it right. Stop catching them doing it wrong. Why does salon management , salon owners focus on the negatives. Reinforce good behaviour by plenty of back patting.

Step Four

Hair salon business runs better when systems are in place so run small regular meetings or one to ones telling them the importance of the new system or change you want. If you have loads of part-timers or shifts then run your meetings in shifts. Otherwise it will take forever to get everyone together.

Step Five

Get your salon management team to Train, Train, Train and train to ensure that all know how to do what and when. Wishing alone is not enough you must train it. (Sorry I know this is going to be a blow to you but “Fairies are not real” just because you wish it ant gonn’a change a thing) make sure they
have the knowledge, understand the benefits for the client and the hair salon business.

Step Six

Allow them time to change, you know what they say Old Habits die hard. Practice makes perfect, if they see themselves successful with the new approach then in time things will change. But remember you must praise them!

Step Seven

Expect some of your team members to
feel uncomfortable with the change,
even your salon management with find
this out. This is so common when people
have done something the same way for
years and then they are asked to change
it. It creates an internal conflict but
this is a normal response. Its a bit
like when you have a disagreement with
someone who has a different opinion to
you it makes you feel uncomfortable
right. Remember what it felt like when
you started owning a hair
salon!……….

Step Eight

Reduce the discomfort by putting people
who are happy with the change with the
people feeling uncomfortable with it.
Make sure your salon management are
happy with the change. Have plenty of
group discussions and one to ones. Get
everyone to view their progress and to
publicly commit their support to the
change. This will really make your hair
salon business fly¡¡¡¡

Step Nine

If you adopt the blow by blow approach
above staff will carry out the changes
and change their attitudes. This means
that they have taken onboard the
approach or new information. Often they
will try to do more to bring about not
only in themselves but in others too.

Step Ten

If enough people undergo the change at
least 50% then over time this will
become the norm The culture in the hair
salon will change and your new system
or training will be here to stay. Its
like chucking mud at the wall
eventually it will stick. Then you will
be the envy of salon owners
everywhere¡¡

Hair Styling Stations
Can be available as single station or space saving setup which can accommodate two, three or even four stylists. Hair styling stations could consist of extension drawers, glass retail shelves, fluorescent lights, coordinating mirrors, and storage cabinet. It may have power strips, holder for curling irons, blow dryer and clipper pockets.

Shampoo Chairs
Used for shampooing hair with a specially designed head rest. A comfortably designed one should be selected for a more positive experience by your customers.

Massage Tables
Used for massaging face as well as head. Head massage is also critical in hair treatment as it increases the blood circulation. It should however be done by trained massage therapist.

Reception Desk
Is also an important piece of furniture that may bring a distinctive appeal to your hair salon. The reception desk is the initial furniture that the customer sees when entering the hair salon Thus, it must let the customer feel the success and excellent grade of services provided by the salon.

The styling chair also adds fantastic ambiance to the salon’s atmosphere. This chair should be comfortable in terms of posture so that customers can sit comfortably while waiting to be serviced. Hydraulic chairs are also available and worth looking at. They can be adjusted according to the height of the customer. The environment displayed and provided by the hair salon to it’s customers must be in such a way that it relays the attractiveness, efficiency and class. Choosing the right furniture is very important in this regards. If you have a limited budget, there are discount stores or online auctions in which you can get them for reasonable price.

What is importance is getting the right blend of your equipment in terms of the ambiance it provides to the customers without sacrificing the functionality.

However there is a lot of competition in this industry.

If you learn how to set your business up right then competition will not be a problem for you.

Here are a few things to consider before starting your search:

1. Start Date

2. Income Goal

3. Start Up Capital

4. Franchise or Existing:

5. Location

6. Time Commitment

Start Date:

When do you plan to actually start your business? Many people think that they first have to find out all of the details first so that they can plan the start date around everything else. Well that may take a little longer by doing it that way. Do it like the pros do. Establish a date that is realistic in your mind, for example: I will start in 3 months on August 1st, 2008. Now that you have established a date then everything else will revolve around that date. Know your start date & write it down.

Income Goal:

How much do you want to make monthly or annually? This is a very important question to ask yourself because it will help match you up with the right business opportunity. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know how much you can make with a hair salon, beauty shop or any other type of business. Know how much you want to make & write it down.

Start Up Capital:

How much money do you have to start your business venture? It’s okay if you don’t have any idea of how much it may cost to start a business as long as you are able to find money when you need it. Most successful businessmen rarely ever start a business with their own money even if they have it sitting in their bank accounts. They use other people’s money like banks & credit unions.

Franchise or Existing:

Franchises are the best way to go because they have a good system in place that has been proven for years. Systems don’t fail, people do. The franchise will train you on everything that you will need to know about this business to become very successful. They cover every area that will need to be covered. However the start up costs is very high. Most franchises start from $250,000 & they may require you to have $100,000 liquid cash on hand before even looking at you. The $100,000 is for you to survive on during the first 6 months (the hardest time). That’s the main reason that the franchise model works so well.

If you are looking at an existing business then find out exactly why they are selling, for example: If they are selling due to illness or retirement then that’s okay but if they are selling due to lack of success then be very careful. Most businesses fail due to poor management skills.

Location:

This is very important because if you don’t have a good location then you may not get enough business. The thing about high traffic locations is that they generally cost more to get. You may make more money in a high traffic area but you will end up having a higher overhead than a low traffic area.

It is not impossible to still make a lot of money in a low traffic area as long as you advertise to let people know that you are there. Since you can save by being in a low traffic area you can spend a little more on perks for your customer like free coffee or newspapers or just better service. If you treat people well they will always come back to you for business. It’s all about customer service.

Time Commitment:

You will definitely have to put in the hours if you own your own business. Most business owners generally work 60 + hours per week. If you are passionate about owning your own business then the time factor will not be an issue for you. However if you are hesitant of working more than 40 hours per week then you may need to think about this a little more before going any further.

Why marketing and advertising your salon should be the last thing you do.

Do you want to know why marketing your salon or spa is the last thing you should be doing right now??

And the reason is very obvious.

In fact, I’m going to fly straight into the face of all those ‘experts’ out there and tell you that until you do one very important thing, you can forget about marketing totally!

Marketing will be no good for you. Actually marketing could make your journey to bankruptcy a heck of a lot quicker! And that’s not the reason you’re in business, is it?

There is one thing you need to do before you do anything else, and you need to do it right now!
How do I know? Well I’ve owned, run and managed salon chains for 24 years. I’ve employed thousands of staff in that time, and I’ve gone from turning-over $16 a day to turning over many, many millions of dollars a year! And I’m not telling you that to impress you, but to justify the success in what I’m about to tell you.

And it’s this … it’s the one thing that almost all the wildly successful salon owners do… and that is… stop deluding yourself.

That’s it. Stop deluding yourself! You see, the reason why more clients aren’t coming to you in the first place is because you are not that special. You offer only average ‘perceived’ value for money. And there is nothing compelling about your business that makes your existing clients want to recommend you to their family, friends and work colleagues.

But here’s the rub. You think you do. You think you do give great service. You believe that your services are pretty good.

You delude yourself.

Well, I’ve got news for you. So does almost every other salon and spa owner out there. And after speaking and training all over the globe I can say with some authority that you are deluding yourself.

Clients expect good service as a given. It is not enough to give good service. It is not enough to just thank your clients for coming. The reason why you haven’t grown substantially as a business is because your market can’t differentiate between you and all your competitors.

You are average.

I’ve asked thousands of salon owners if they believe they are ‘above average’, even if it is just a little bit. Every single one of them think they are! This in itself makes them average!

So, what has this got to do with ‘not’ marketing?

People are not flocking to your salon for a reason. Your salon is not growing for a reason. People don’t want to go to your salon, and those that have been don’t necessarily want to commit to return, because you are average.

Not bad, but not great either.

How do I know?

If you were great you’d be booked-out! If you were great, a client would have to book-in weeks in advance!

If you really think you are great, have a look at your appointment book.

Are you deluding yourself?

My experience tells me you that you are probably in the 95% of salon owners who are deluding themselves.

So, if people don’t find your business good enough to tell other people about, then you must be doing something pretty ordinary in your business.

And it’s right here that you don’t want to be doing any marketing at all!

Why? Because if you do happen to attract a heap of people into your salon through some clever marketing or advertising, and your service is ‘average’ at best, you’ve just told the number of people who have just come-in, multiplied by 15 others that they will tell, that you are average!
You’re going to spread the word that you are ordinary even quicker! Bankruptcy looms!!
Don’t delude yourself. Look critically at your customer service. Pick apart the ‘little things’. Make your salon an experience they won’t forget.

Be honest with yourself.

Ask “what can I do to be great? What can we do that will make our existing clients become raving fans?”

When you have raving fans of the majority of your clients, well, you probably won’t need to do any marketing anyway!

<img src="http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb50/yavega/beauty.jpg" border="0" alt="models"align="right">There are some business opportunities that will almost always make money for a shrewd operator and on of these businesses based on my personal experience is a well run beauty salon.

This business lives or dies by the quality of people who work in the salon and the national chains have very little advantage over somebody who wants to start a salon by themselves. The reason for this is that the cost of the actual products used in the beauty treatments is minimal and therefore they do not benefit greatly from their buying power.

The main cost of running a beauty salon includes rent, rates and labour and therefore you can compete with the big boys on an equal footing. Recently I have been writing blogs and articles about the types of businesses to avoid! This is not one of them.

There are many different types of course one can attend to learn about the beauty trade and some are very good. Without learning some new skills and educating yourself prior to opening you might as well not bother. It probably is a good idea to work in a busy salon first so that you learn the ropes before starting your own.

Most people starting for the first time will not have any established clients and will therefore be relying purely on passing trade. This is why it is absolutely essential to get a location that has a lot of foot-trade and decent parking nearby.

Kitting out the salon properly from day one will make the difference between success and failure. People do not mind spending a little extra if they feel that they are being pampered in a nice, luxurious & comfortable environment. In my opinion many women go to a beauty salon for a treat or some relaxation as much as the actual beauty treatment.

The layout of the store should allow everybody to move around easily and each chair should have all the supplies within easy reach thereby minimising time wasted looking for essential products or equipment. Having proper equipment allocated to each chair is essential.

A busy salon will need a diary system for booking in clients and somewhere handy for them to sit whilst waiting for their treatment. The waiting area also has to well fitted out and stocked with the latest fashion and women’s magazines.

There are many small bookkeeping packages that can make life easier but I would always advice somebody starting in business for the first time to outsource this completely to a competent book keeper leaving you completely free to focus on growing your business.

Marketing a beauty salon if you have chosen the right location is very simple. You can distribute leaflets offering half price treatments to your local area. Speak to shops around

<img src="http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh109/eherr0973/entrepreneurs.jpg" border="0" alt="BIODAD!"align="right">Deciding to give up your day job in order to open your own business is an exciting and rewarding time but can also be full of challenges. The success of your new business venture will depends partially on your attitude and skills as well as obtaining the correct finance.

Every year thousands of people decide to set up their own business. However out of all the people who take the risk 20% of these new businesses fail within their first year and 50% of them fail within their 3rd year. This is why being prepared is so important. You need to be completely ready to open your own business before taking any steps to make your dream a reality. If you’re not prepared you could end up failing.

In order for your business to become a success it is important that you have researched thoroughly into the area that you are hoping to set up your own business in. For a start off it is highly important that you have a good idea to pursue. You should think about whether the product or service you are trying to sell is new or is there a gap in the market for it? Is your new business venture linked to the business that you are already working in? Are you interested in this new business venture? Is it hobby? The more you know about your intended business the better chance you have of making it a success.

As well as knowing all there is to know about the business that you are hoping to go into it is also very important to ensure you have looked into your target market, you need to ensure that there is a sufficient market for your business idea. The way in which you should do this is by identifying your customers and answering questions such as does your business satisfy a need? What competition will you face? Is your product or service safe for public use?

Poor market research is one of the key reasons as to why new businesses fail along with; weak financial planning, setting your sights to high, taking your eye off the competition, poor suppliers, poor stock and hiring the wrong staff.

Every aspect of your business needs to be planned out, hence the need for a business plan. Your plan will outline the strategies, objectives, target market and the financial forecast of your business. You need to have every aspect of it covered. Nothing when it comes to a new business is concrete; again this is why you need to be prepared and why it is so important that when you produce your plan you do so to a high standard.

Never leave anything to chance when making your preparations for your new venture. If you never leave anything to chance you have a higher rate of success. You are prepared for everything that your business could throw at you, meaning you are ready to start your own business.

<img src="http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm287/fuckmy_life/Photo15.jpg" border="0" alt="rich bitch"align="left">Have you ever wonder or asked yourself why the rich is getting richer and the majority of the people, struggles to make a living ? I used to ask and complain about these facts.

If you share the same views, you probably would have been hoping and wishing that your company is going to pay you big bonuses or increase your pay. Now, If you are still having these views, Ask yourself, are you being controlled by the environment? Are you limiting yourself against what your value is truly worth? You see, you are “hoping” and “wishing” for things that you have no control over. What if the “hope” didn’t arrive? Yes, you still get your paycheck, but then again, your WEALTH remains the same! Even if the bonuses did arrive, say, $10,000 of extra cash into your pay cheque, you will only be $9,987 richer after a year of hardwork! How are you going to live like the rich?

Majority of the people in this world plays on the safe side. They live and work each day as it goes by. For them as long as they receive a pay cheque, they will be satisfied. For them, being rich and wealthy is only a dream.

The rich however, think on a different mentality. The difference between them is “taking action”. Look at the legendary Les Brown, he was not born rich. He has nothing to propel him to the man he is today! What makes him so successful today? Its about taking action! Its about grabbing every opportunity he finds. Other examples of rich successful people are Warren Buffett, Richard Branson and even Roman Abramovich. Its about taking action.

Alot would argue that they were lucky to find an opportunity and the same would not happen everyday. This is just an excuse made by people to console themselves why they are not rich and wealthy. It is just a way they “cheat” themselves to see things just to make themselves feel better in order to accept the fact that they are not rich.

However, If you think on the other side of the story;

Warren Buffett, In 1954, he had a job partnering with Benjamin Graham with a monthly salary of $12,000. If he did not fold up that partnership with Benjamin and seek to start his own business, would he achieve the status he is today? For most people, they would be content with that $12,000 pay cheque.

Richard Branson, started two ventures during the early times of his life. Both of which failed. For most people, that would more than convince them to live on the “safe side”.

Roman Abramovich, He took the opportunity to invest in oil when many others did not. Again, He was the person taking action while others again, choose to play the “safe side”.

Look at the different lifestyle they are living now as compared to the people whom played the safe side. Do you think opportunity did not cross the majorities path?

Then again, the rich gets richer because they continue to take action in order to grow their wealth. Warren Buffett did not stop when he made his first billion, so does Richard Branson and Roman Abramovich. They became richer by taking chances to expand their wealth. The Majority again, gets poorer because they did not stop “playing safe” and also because of the effect of the inflation.

Opportunity to make money comes across our path every now and then. It is really the difference in taking action.

Now would you want to make that change and grow your wealth by taking action ? You decide…
